A Tree

A great way to study scriptures is by taking one scripture and building a symbolic family tree or pedigree with it. Start with 1 Nephi 1:20...build 4 generations, see where it takes you.

Team Effort

A nice way to study or to determine a study time is called substitution from another thing like before or after dinner, or by replacing it with a show on television. Ten or 15 minutes together can be a priceless effort.

Reading Exercise

Your breathing stamina can improve as you read a chapter in scripture as fast as you can.  You can really feel something as you do this in your throat and nasal areas.  Plus the chapter you have read is finished quickly.  Remember as you read, visualize your reading so comprehension is not lost. Comprehension  can also be increased by saying 1,2,3, or A, B, C, as you visualize key points in your reading.

Mature Love

I have found that a great way to elevate your marital relationship is through scripture study. Take the Sunday School Study Guide, and follow it together.  As you answer questions together, you just feel better.

Companion Study

One of the most effective ways to study the scriptures is to do it with your spouse.  You can do this with the recommended LDS study guides, and weekly lesson schedules. Together read key scriptural verses, and share with each other personal insights of them.  It is really effective learning.  Many added insights are encountered. Multiple concepts can be discussed. Your hearts become knitted together.
