Forward Thinking

How can we each increase our ability to "see" more faithfully?

His Promise

John 8:12

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Good News II

A calling we all have.  The gospel can help us find it through our journey.

15  among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
Philippians 2.

Topic

Gospel, the good news!

Another Weekend

"As you retire to bed, think about the successes and failures of the day and what will make the next day a little better. And thank your Heavenly Father for the manna He has placed along your path that sustained you through the day. Your reflections will increase your faith in Him as you see His hand helping you to endure some things and to change others. You will be able to rejoice in one more day, one more step toward eternal life."
Elder D. Todd Christofferson

Warming Body

After being two days without power in the home, I enjoyed a prepared cup of cocoa

from a boiling cup of water brewed in the fireplace.

Sabbath Preparation

I select a quiet room.  And review a scripture or quote with each finger until I have gone through all ten on my hand.  Like this one:

"Our faith can reach beyond the limits of current reason."

then select a key word:

Reach

Now remember the word throughout your day...then...

Tomorrow capture this quote or scripture in your mind, in your quiet place.
