The scripture should be meaningful. One that can be imprinted or permanently decaled to one's heart. A scripture to be thought of and used during waiting, idol or musing moments.
Vessel scripture to memorize:
23 Now I would that ye should remember that God has said that the inward vessel shall be cleansed first, and then shall the outer vessel be cleansed also. (Book of Mormon, Alma, Alma 60)
