Time-out

It is important to remember that a dive through any resource can yield great treasures.  I am in the process of diving through the recent general conference messages, hoping to capture a dozen or so quotes I can memorize until the next conference. Here is a sampling of them:

"We need a constantly renewed stream; We need not just one flash of light and comfort, but we need the continuing blessing of communication with God."

"And we do not need to achieve some minimum level of capacity or goodness before God will help—divine aid can be ours every hour of every day, no matter where we are in the path of obedience."

"The constant water balloon volleys from the sidelines may occasionally get you wet, but they need never, never extinguish your burning fire of faith."

"A steward managing the field must, with all his or her power, nourish that which is good and make it so strong and beautiful the tares will have no appeal either to the eye or the ear."
